I made this post on reddit, and the responses were good enough to post here.
The simulation itself is sentient, everything inside the simulation is sentient, it's all just source running the simulations. I know people like to think it's like a technical simulation with mechanics but it's not like that. Everything that has any sort of life within the simulation has a soul, from bugs to plants to animals to us, everything that has any kind of spark of life has an energetic imprint.
I did a past life regression recently and was shown my very first life here on earth, spoiler alert I was a rosebush, and after I "died" I was shown how we start from source. Source being the motherboard to the simulation, and essentially the way one of my guides was explaining it is source is a computer and we are all programs ran by this computer specifically so it can have experiences. This is why we are able to choose what type of life we live, if you chose a human avatar in this life and you wanna live a cow avatar in the next life you can do that, it all depends on what your soul wants to experience. Coming back to my first life, from what I was shown I wanted to just dip my toes and see what "life" at all was even like and so I became a rosebush, one of the easiest possible lives you could live here on earth.
Earth is just a plane within the simulation that you can experience everything materially, as well all of the universes and galaxies that you could choose to live in are part of the simulation, it's not just earth realm. This is just one of the games you can play and we as well as every single being that exists right now just happen to be playing the 2000s expansion pack.
If you'd like I can talk more about my life as a rosebush, it was very simple very peaceful. I was able to connect with the mycelium and see people in a different way and able to truly talk to plants and this tree that was not far away from me was my best friend And guardian. As well the tree was me so I was technically living two lives at the same time, just different facets in the same place. I also didn't feel the same way that people do. Everything was very neutral, like when the human that tended to me would take my flowers I wasn't angry or upset, I knew she was going to do that because I could feel her intent. When the hill caught fire and engulfed me I wasn't scared but I knew it was going to take me and I just let it happen because I was a plant and there was nothing I could do about it besides wait for it to eventually happen.
Everything that exists, exists to experience, just like any sort of video game that you would play. Your character exists to experience things a certain way, to be able to play things a certain way, and that's why we come here and live as these different characters (animals/bugs/people/plants) whatever we play as. It's all just a video game, they are all different personalities, they are all just different characters, we are all just different characters, and that's how it all ties in to the simulation theory.
